Scholarships for Membership We provide membership scholarships to families and staff members facing financial hardship. Scholarships are provided with NO APPLICATION PROCESS. Simply choose the "Scholarship" product during the "Join" process. We want to remove financial barriers to you being more engaged in your students’ school and PTSA!
Corporate Matching Many companies offer to match their employees' donation to PTSA and membership fees. If you or your spouse work for one of these generous employers, you may be able to DOUBLE your donations too. Companies that participate in this program include: Boeing, Expedia, Hornell Anderson Design, Microsoft, Starbucks, UBS, United Way, Wells Fargo.
*RMS PTSA is a 501(c)(3) organization. Membership fees and donations are tax deductible.

VP Volunteers |
Coordinate with school and PTSA to establish volunteer needs, manage available volunteers and help recognize volunteers. |
Pantry Packs Chair |
Work under the direction of RMS counselors and in partnership with LWSF to bring/sort food to students-in-need to take home. Option to form a committee and assign drivers. |
Reflections Chair |
If you are passionate about art, or have a student that wants to participate, or just want to help out, volunteer for this position! Coordinate, manage student submissions for this annual creative contest! |
Facebook Chair |
Communicate the great things our Grizzlies are doing on our Facebook page! Programs, events, awards, tips, resources to name a few! |
Nominating Committee (3) |
In charge of identifying and recruiting candidates for the incoming PTSA Board for the 2022-2023 school year. This is a relatively simple, but very important task. Training and resources available. |
Bear Tracks Spanish Translator |
Translate the biweekly PTSA newsletter, Bear Tracks, and save it as a PDF to our website, to be accessible to community members. |
Spanish Translators |
Translate PTSA flyers to make them accessible to community members as needed. |

This toolkit provides answers to many questions that your 8th graders have as they make the transition into high school at Redmond High. RMS PTSA is excited to have launched a new section to Bear Tracks, Question Corner, last year and we'd like to continue it this year! Do you have questions about PTSA, school, LWSD or even City of Redmond? The RMS PTSA invites you to submit your questions to us so they can be answered! "Welcome Back to RMS" Events (Repeat)
|
RMS will be hosting "Welcome Back to RMS" events at the end of August. These events are a way to have your student familiarize themselves with RMS. Help your student practice opening their locker and walking from class to class so the first day of school is a bit less daunting. Currently each event will be held from 6-8pm at RMS (COVID-related updates will be provided closer to events):6th grade: Thursday, August 26, 6:00-8:00 PM7th grade: Friday, August 27, 6:00-8:00 PM8th grade: Monday, August 30, 6:00-8:00 PMIf you are a family that has more than one students here at RMS (in different grade levels) please send Principal Dana Greenberg (dgreenberg@lwsd.org) an email with the date that you would like to attend so your family can attend all at once.

Statewide Mask Mandate effective August 23: The governor announced that the existing statewide mask mandate will be expanded to once again include vaccinated individuals in indoor settings effective Monday, August 23. The expansion comes after Washington recently broke the previous record for COVID hospitalizations set in December.
