As usual, our first priority is to thank the appreciative people who have donated to the Historic Vehicles website. HV does have some advertising support, but we are indebted also to each donor, for helping keep the website content growing every month.

We've been asked by some of our website regulars to help re-home some important historic vehicles: a Commer 'Knocker' truck that's 98-percent complete and three 1924 to 1926 Bean cars and a 1925 Bean truck that have been partially restored. If interested parties drop us emails, we'll put them in touch with the owners.

Another subscriber is chasing a Pacific P16 truck, if anyone knows of a survivor Down Under.

In our News section we reported that the Goodwood Revival 2026 will feature Vespa scooters and noted the lead-up to the 100th anniversary of US Route 66. 

In Car Features  we reported on Victoria's Stoewer Car Museum and 'Rosalia', a '57 Pontiac.

To Car Brands we added Stoewer and Dort, and put more info in our Ford, Skoda and Zeta entries.

In Car Restorations we put even more info into the story about the first car to drive around Australia and also recorded the factory resto of a unique Skoda-Hispano-Suiza.

To Motorcycle Brands we added The Lewis.

In Motorcycle Features we recorded the sleeve-valve initiative.

In Truck Features we highlighted the significant career of Max Winkless and upgraded our two-stroke diesel story, with decisive Rootes TS3 information

To Truck Brands we added the Fordson and put more two-stroke information in our Commer entry

In Working Vehicles, we featured a Daihatsu Delta that's still going strongly.

We've been posting some more of our very high-quality,  Historic Vehicles caps to Australian website donors. We're keeping these caps exclusive by giving them only to people who donate A$60 or more to the Historic Vehicles website. (Overseas donors can receive caps, but need to pay postage.)

Like you, we no longer have the Xmas-New Year-Australia Day period to use an excuse for delaying garage projects.  Let's all get into it - from the Historic Vehicles team.
