This Pride month, we're facing a difficult truth: support for LGBTQ+ nonprofits like The Curve Foundation is disappearing when our communities need it most. Sponsors are backing away, and LGBTQ+ support is seen as a risk. This year, The Curve Foundation lost a staggering 90% of its corporate sponsorship. But we're not backing down.
During this time, we've taken a moment to reflect on our purpose and how we can continue to best serve our community. We reviewed every program and initiative led by The Curve Foundation and gained deeper insight into what makes our work truly unique. Curve makes lifelong impact, fosters connections, builds intergenerational community, and preserves the rich culture for lesbians, queer women, and trans and nonbinary people through our year-long programming. This clarity fuels our commitment to deepen our impact and expand our reach.
