Year-End/Giving Tuesday Update

We've got some exciting things to share with you—don't miss the "News From Curve" below! But first, a word on our current Year-End fundraising campaign. Thanks to you, we exceeded our Giving Tuesday goal, and received over $3,500 in gifts! Not including an added $1,000 from a matching donor. We've now increased our goal to $5,000 to help us continue protecting and uplifting lesbian and queer women's stories.

This year, one community member who usually gives $150–$250 quietly stretched to $750. No bragging. No spotlight. Just a simple, “Alright, I can push myself a bit.”

We were moved by her gift and asked her why. Her answer:

"I can no longer be quiet. I can no longer not be part of the solution. Women's history needs protection and archiving. It is in the small [donation] stretches that build the foundation and stability for our future generations. I can stretch at higher amounts to spread the impact." – Dr. D

And that’s the challenge for the rest of us. What’s your stretch?

Maybe it’s $5 to $10.

Maybe it’s $50 to $100.

Maybe it’s $500 to $1,000.

That “little more” keeps Curve alive as a safe, visible, loud-and-proud home for our community. Because our stories? They’re worth it. And honestly, who else is going to protect them if not us?

We're starting 2026 with something truly special!

Join Curve Film Club as we celebrate the 40th Anniversary of Desert Hearts, featuring a live Q&A with director Donna Deitch and a surprise guest actor (hint: she's been on the cover of Curve magazine)! This is the film's first celebration of the year, so come be a part of it.
