This Sunday

It's the first Sunday in Advent. We celebrate the HOPE for all mankind. We also mark Bible Sunday.

In the evening Ian from CARE NI is back with a Christian Response to Assisted Suicide.

FOODBANK CHRISTIAN HAMPERS

As in previous years the Foodbank is planning to provide Christmas Hampers to those in our community who have been referred to us as being in food poverty.

We have started to gather the items we need to fill the hampers and would be very grateful for any help you can give. If you can help please keep an eye out for the list of needed items on facebook.

First Larne Points for PRAYER

Praise God the creator and sustainer of the Universe; who made all things from nothing. Thank Him for the talented people who use what he has made to discover, develop and implement some wonderful things of science and technology.
Pray the people who are pushing the technological developments will pursue this with good in mind. Aiming for solutions to mass hunger, major diseases, affordable energy.
We know 'science' and 'Christianity' are not opposites, but a knowable world is dependant on a knowable God. Remember Jesus, the God-Man, who came down to save us and make God known more clearly.
