First Larne Points for PRAYER

  • "When Jesus looked at the people he had compassion on them..." Matt 9:36
  • God of all compassion, we pray for those who in great and constant pain and distress because of serious and often terminal illness.
  • Sovereign Lord, we bring to you the Assisted Dying Bill.  Protect the vulnerable often used as pawns in this fight.
  • Lord we are thankful we live in a nation with palliative care.  We remember countries that do not have this access.  May we prioritise it, fund it and give adequate training.
  • Be with medical professionals and institutions, give them strength, may they not grow weary.
Pray for Zaro.
Join with members of Zaro congregation in Malawi, giving thanks that the rains have come and that food crops are growing again.
Ask God to be with them as they worship sheltering under the trees.
They are praying for a roof for their new church building and are grateful that our congregation has offered to help with this.
Watch out for more details over the next few weeks.
