The Gift of Grandparents

This week, the preschool and kindergarten students were thrilled to host their grandparents for our Grandparents’ Day celebration! The morning was filled with sweet songs, delicious treats, and joyful moments as the children proudly showed their grandparents around their school. We were grateful to have Pastor Brandon share an encouraging message about Jesus and the importance of creating a lasting legacy of faith for our grandchildren. It was a heartwarming day honoring the special bond between generations!
Preschoolers Get It All Together

Mrs. Kelly's class enjoys working on simple puzzles. It is very satisfying for the children to get to see all the pieces fitting together to make a complete picture.
Kindergarteners Take Bike Riding in Stride

The kindergarten classes have been participating in the All-Kids Bike Program during PE. This program uses Strider Balance Bikes to help children learn balance and coordination before the addition of pedals. This encourages the development of spatial awareness, balance, and basic motor skills, enabling all children to learn to ride!

There is much fun in watching the joy on student faces as they gain confidence and progress in their skills, eventually transitioning to pedals.

NHS Caps Off Weekend of Fellowship with Service

Last weekend, Seven Rivers National Honor Society spent time serving the community and growing closer as a chapter. NHS started the weekend with church together on Saturday evening and a home-cooked meal at Mrs. de Beer's, along with fellowship and games. The next morning, members of this year's NHS gave of their time to help out the YMCA in our community. From Camila and Gracelyn assigning numbers prior to the race, to Gavin, Destiny, and Audrey on the cleanup crew, our members helped the YMCA make the youth triathlon a success. We are so proud to be a part of a school that develops students with servant hearts, ready to make a difference in the small things.
Science Class Pitches in to Study Momentum

Mr. Eckart's physical science classes recently went outside to complete a momentum lab, putting both brains and brawn to test. They had to time their pitching to calculate, among other things, how fast their teacher's car would have to travel to equal the momentum of their group's average pitch. The beautiful fall weather lends affords the occasional opportunity for the teachers to take learning outdoors.
SRCS Achieves Reaccreditation

Seven Rivers Christian School recently underwent a process in which a Peer Review Team evaluated our school on 92 standards. The process involved an inspection of the campus and our records, and interview panels made up of faculty, parents, and students. The school was commended in multiple areas by the peer review team, including the ministry relationship between school and church, academic excellence, and leadership. We passed all 92 standards and are fully accredited with the following agencies:

- Accreditation through the Christian Schools of Florida (CSF)

- National Accreditation through Cognia (the largest accreditor of public schools, charter schools, and private schools in the country)

- National and International Accreditation through the National Council for Private School Accreditation (NCPSA)

Did you know that Dana James, our Head of School, serves as the Executive Director of CSF and as a council member for NCPSA.

Way to go, Warriors!
From the Advisor's Desk : Commended Student Spotlight

Each year, more than one million students take the PSAT nationwide. The top 50,000 students are recognized. The top 34,000 students are further recognized as Commended Students, and their outstanding academic promise is noted with an official letter of commendation. For the class of 2026, Tandy Luckey qualified as a Commended Student. Tandy’s incredible performance puts him in the top 3% of students taking the PSAT. Tandy’s classmates and teachers celebrated him during chapel, where he was presented with his official letter and given a hearty round of applause. Way to go, Tandy!
