New CD Mailed to Fans, Prayers for Rich & Wayne |

J. Jackson, lead singer and lyricist for ApologetiX here.
We’re sad to report that ApX keyboardist Rich Mannion’s mother-in-law, Marion Wilson, passed away early Wednesday morning after a 10-year battle with dementia. She was 89 years old and had been in very poor health for quite some time and in hospice care, so the news was not unexpected.
Marion had three daughters, including Rich’s wife, Nettie, plus three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. One of her daughters preceded her in death many years ago.
“She was a pillar of love and strength,” says Rich. “Though we are heartbroken, we are grateful for her life's impact on ours and for her homecoming to eternal peace.”
After Marion passed, Rich and Nettie noticed something unbelievable: She died on February 11 at 1:11 a.m., and her own mother, Marguerite Phillips, died 21 years earlier on the exact same date, February 11, 2005, at the exact same time, 1:11 a.m.!
If that doesn’t make you think everything is part of a much grander design, I don’t know what would.
As David wrote, "My times are in your hands” (31:15a) and "all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be” (Psalm 139:16b). That’s a comforting thing to remember at times like these.
Please keep Nettie, Rich, and the rest of Marion's family in your prayers. Thank you.

New Single Now Expected by This Sunday Night |
We mentioned this briefly in our news bulletin on Wednesday, but in case you missed it:
Our second single of 2026 was supposed to come out last weekend or earlier this week but has been running slightly behind schedule. The songs have already been mixed and are in the final editing stage and should be available by the end of this weekend, Lord willing.
We’re as eager as you for everything to be finished and released. We apologize for the delay. There were some circumstances beyond our control.
Believe it or not, we've already recorded all the instrumental parts and vocals for the two songs on our third single of 2026, but that will require plenty of mixing, too, so don’t expect to see that one till two weeks after this one.

Please Pray for ApX Alum Guitarist Wayne Bartley |
J. Jackson, lead singer and lyricist for ApologetiX here again.
ApX alum guitarist Wayne Bartley emailed me on Wednesday with some bad news:
|
I have something happening on the back on my right ear. I thought it was excema. I was taking my shirt off tonight and it caught my ear and tore it a tiny little at the base. Now the excema seems to be spreading into the surrounding areas and causing an ear infection. Please pray for that to heal.
|
He sent me a photo later, and his ear looked pretty awful. On Friday afternoon, he went to an Express Care facility. While waiting for them to see him, he texted the following:
|
I don't have ear infection, internally anyway. A red-dotted patch of skin around my ear is spreading. I'm in waiting area. I'll let you know their diagnosis when I'm waited on. Please pray it is nothing serious and that they give me the correct diagnosis and treatment.
|
Afterward, he texted the following:
|
Prescribed antibiotics. They think it is bacteria. I'm picking it up now.
|
Please keep Wayne in your prayers. Thank you. He gave me permission to share all that info with you.

Funny Facebook Post from ApX Fan in Texas |
Here’s a funny Facebook post we saw recently from an ApX fan in Texas:
|
I sure hope the band will be able to read this post. Because I sure wish that I had it on video. I have to tell you this story.
This past weekend we attended the Hot Hearts Youth Conference in Beaumont TX. My 20-year-old son was with us. The speaker was preaching and began to get technical, and energetically stated, “We’re going to get technical now. Who here loves apologetics?!”
My son, whose attention had been diverted briefly, only heard the question, “Who here loves apologetics?” He quickly spun around, lifted his fist in the air, and yelled at the top of his lungs, “YEAH!” He quickly realized that he was the only one in the WHOLE STADIUM of literally hundreds who responded.
I whispered to him, “He’s talking about theological apologetics, not the band.”
My son smiled and face-palmed himself LOL! I encouraged him, though, saying that if they had been talking about the band, I would have been right there along with him!
It was priceless! I wish the guys could’ve been there to see that LOL. Thanks for enduring the post. I hope it made someone smile. Donnie Wayne Gulley Beaumont TX

That’s a great story, Donnie! Thanks so much for sharing it with us! Please tell your son we said thanks for representin’ and that we appreciate the enthusiastic show of public support!

Bible-Reading Plan for 2026 |
We began our latest trip through the Bible on Wednesday, April 3. Note: If you don't have a Bible handy, you can look up these passages for free on Bible Gateway. They have about 60 different English translations/versions there to choose from, plus translations in many other languages, many of which also have multiple translations/versions.
