Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteers Needed for RMS Laptop Rollout

Laptop rollout to students will occur during the school day on Tuesday, September 7. RMS is need of parent/guardian volunteers to make sure everything runs smoothly and efficiently. If you are willing to help out, please sign up via the Signup Genius link below for one or more 2-hour slots. Feel free to send this link to other RMS families to find out if they can volunteer!


Please remember that you must be an APPROVED LWSD Volunteer. If you're not already, please fill out the LWSD Volunteer Application with Raptor Technologies as soon as possible to give the approval process enough time to complete.

COVID protocols will require volunteers to sign a waiver and wear a mask at all times.

Looking for Other Ways to Help?

The PTSA is looking for a few good people, like you, to help us make this a better school and community for our students! Read through the following positions in our most-needed areas. Contact [email protected] if you are interested in any of the roles or have any questions.

All positions can be shared by more than one person!
VP Volunteers Coordinate with school and PTSA to establish volunteer needs, manage available volunteers and help recognize volunteers.
Pantry Packs Chair Work under the direction of RMS counselors and in partnership with LWSF to bring/sort food to students-in-need to take home. Option to form a committee and assign drivers.
Reflections Chair If you are passionate about art, or have a student that wants to participate, or just want to help out, volunteer for this position! Coordinate and manage student submissions for this annual creative contest!
Nominating Committee (3) In charge of identifying and recruiting candidates for the incoming PTSA Board for the 2022-2023 school year. This is a relatively simple, but very important task. Training and resources available.
Bear Tracks Spanish Translator Translate the biweekly PTSA newsletter, Bear Tracks, and save it as a PDF to our website, to be accessible to community members.
Spanish Translators Translate PTSA flyers to make them accessible to community members as needed.
Bear Tracks Newsletter is produced by RMS PTSA as a benefit to the Redmond Middle School Community. Bear Tracks is edited by Neeta C. Please submit articles via the Bear Tracks Online Submission Form. Articles are due on Thursdays, by 5:00 PM for publication the following Sundays.
