World Teachers' Day: NSW Teaching Gems Map is now Live!
Recognise a teacher, past or present, who has made a difference to your school community by pinning a gem to the NSW Teaching Gems Map.
We received over 18,500 heartwarming submissions in 2025 about how much NSW teachers mean to their school communities. Can we recognise even more teachers this year?
Look out for more ways your school community can get involved and celebrate your incredible teachers and educators in Term 4.

Reminder to complete HSC Online Sample Exams
There are two weeks left for students enrolled in HSC Online Exams for Enterprise Computing, Science Extension and Software Engineering to complete the sample exam/s using the latest lockdown browser.
The sample exam helps students to prepare and confirm:
the exam works on the device they will be using on exam day
the new lockdown browser version functions on their device
they are familiar with the features and functionality of the online exam environment.
Even if students have completed other online exams at school, we encourage them to complete the NESA sample online exam/s to prepare and resolve any issues before exam day.
Course teachers can enrol students now in the sample exams via Schools Online.
