News from the President's Desk
This month I want to talk about Multigenerational travel. It makes me smile when I see families traveling together. Recently, I was in a hotel in Seattle for an extended period and saw families of at least three generations traveling together with one or two using a mobility device or oxygen equipment. Just one or two people in the group need something from us and the whole family gets to enjoy each other’s company. Unfortunately, too many people think that the days of traveling together may be in their rearview mirror because as they have aged their ability to walk longer distances or to go without supplemental oxygen has adjusted their mindset.
So, I have a request for you. Please spread the word to all of your friends and family, that travel is not only still possible, but also a very enjoyable alternative to learning about different destinations through other’s stories. We need your help to spread awareness that anyone can still explore the planet with a little help from Special Needs Group, Inc./Special Needs at Sea. Everyone can enjoy new memories made with grandparents, children, grandchildren, and friends you make along the way.
See you next month!
