Yes, I'm still alive! how are you all doing? Ha, I wasn't planning on forgetting the newsletters but as usual a lot happens and I was busy with Patreon, then closing that and opening Ko-Fi. Vacations in between, busy with work and there you go: It is suddenly October 🎃.  

So what's been going on lately?
As you probably know I work at the HKU University of the Arts in Utrecht as a coordinating teacher, so I'm usually quite busy the first weeks of the semester. And besides that I am spending time on something new: the application for a grant to renew/improve our education. Although this does not mean something for my own artworks, it could possibly lead to improvements in the arts-education for the academy of games, so who knows.

Besides that, some things changed last year in that I decided Patreon didn't work for me because I just don't have a big enough of a follower-base (and their prices got higher..) so I decided to try Ko-Fi instead, see the links below. Then I sort of fell in love with short visual stories again and I plan to create some more as I did during summer. 

At the end of Summer I finally bought a Huion Kamvas display tablet to draw on with my PC. I've used my iPad tablet for such a long time but it has its limitations, but on the other hand I did not draw on my flat Intuos tablet that it was kind of hard to go back to drawing without a display, so I saved up and bought one. After that I didn't have a lot of time to work with it though because of my HKU job.
