As usual, our first priority is to thank the appreciative people who have donated to the Historic Vehicles website. HV does have some advertising support, but we are indebted also to each donor, for helping keep the website content growing every month.

We've put two-stroke engine features in our car, truck and motorcycle sections, describing their different scavenging systems.

In our News section we reported on an electrified Mini you could win; two book reviews and a restored Dennis fire engine in need of some TLC.

To Car Features  we reported on the excellent Terribly British Day; updated info about the man who invented cruise control; traced the development of two-stroke car engines over the 20th century and recorded the first global IFS.

To Car Brands we added Skoda, Empire, Summit, Trabant-Wartburg, DKW, Aero-Jawa and Leyland.

In Car Restorations we added a heap more info to the story about the first car to drive around Australia and described how to fix a Smith's vehicle clock.

To Motorcycle Brands we added Puch.

In Motorcycle Features we added more info to our World's Fastest Indian story and followed the progress of two-stroke bike engines throughout the 20th century.

In Truck Features we traced the development of two-stroke diesels that took a different path from car and bike engines.

To Truck Brands we added more information on Daihatsu trucks Down Under.

We've been posting some more of our very high-quality,  Historic Vehicles caps to Australian website donors. We're keeping these caps exclusive by giving them only to people who donate A$60 or more to the Historic Vehicles website. (Overseas donors can receive caps, but need to pay postage.)
