September is here, and there is so much happening at Affinity Ranch!
We are just days away from our Ponies with Purpose Gala on September 10th, and we are looking forward to an incredible evening celebrating the people, programs, and horses that make our mission possible. If you haven't purchased your tickets yet, this is your last call to join us! We are also putting the finishing touches on our silent auction and are still accepting donated items and experiences. Every ticket purchased and every auction contribution helps us expand access to life-changing equine- and animal-assisted services for our community.
August also brought an exciting opportunity to welcome the Colorado Competitive Council (C3) Basecamp to Affinity Ranch. We were honored to host elected officials, policy leaders, business leaders, and community partners for a firsthand look at the work happening here every day.
Our guests had the opportunity to see our programs in action and learn more about the continuum of services Affinity Ranch provides. Just as importantly, we were able to have meaningful conversations about where current public policy and funding are successfully supporting the individuals and families we serve—and where thoughtful changes could help remove barriers, improve access, and strengthen the long-term sustainability of these important services.
We are grateful for the genuine engagement, thoughtful questions, and willingness to learn that our guests brought to the ranch. Opportunities like this allow us not only to share the mission of Affinity Ranch, but also to advocate for a future in which more people can access the services and support they need.
As we head into one of our biggest months of the year, I continue to be grateful for the incredible community surrounding Affinity Ranch.
