Two new Personal Development, Health and Physical Education (PDHPE) syllabuses will be implemented in schools in 2027 to replace the current PDHPE K–10 (2018) syllabus:

What's New
Change to timing notifications during HSC Languages Oral Extension and In Context exams
Students will no longer hear timing notifications (previously a bell sound) during 2026 Languages oral Extension and In Context exams.
Students can continue to view the on-screen timer to see how much time remains in their exam. The timer remains visible on the screen throughout the exam.
