News from Andy's Desk,
Hello Fellow Travel Enthusiasts,
Wow! We are almost ready to turn the page on another year and we have some exciting news to share. There is a host agency who has gone to great lengths to ensure accessibility awareness for both their travel advisors and clients. CONGRATULATIONS to Dream Vacations for earning the coveted honor of being the SNG Power Partner of 2025! Their dedication to the slow walker segment is not only the right thing to do, but also a smart business decision. Special Needs Group, Inc.’s customers have both the time and the means to travel and often pay for their friends and family to join them. It’s called Multigenerational Travel. Dream Vacations’s accessibility push to their travel advisors, has made them among the best at booking this segment. Thank you, Dream Vacations, for your dedication to making travel accessible to everyone!
Also in this newsletter, we have a link to an excellent article discussing accessibility on Royal Caribbean’s Icon-Class vessels. It offers great information and insight from both Royal Caribbean’s Access Department and one of our favorite travel advisors, Kristy LaCroix from Wheelchair Escapes. You should definitely check out what they have to say.
Last week, we also provided all of the mobility scooters and wheelchairs for Art Basel, the art industry event of the year, held annually, here in Miami Beach. I heard that the famous Usher was motoring around on one of our scooters. If you happen to have a picture, please send it to us.
We also attended the Eddie Woodham Holiday Showcase and both educated travel advisors and collected gifts on behalf of Camelot Community Care, a foster care program here in the State of Florida. The generosity of all who attended was truly heartwarming. If you missed it, you still have a couple options to participate.
1. Stop by our office with a gift for us to take to Camelot Community Care.
Last but not least, as always, I encourage you to BOOK EARLY! There is an additional reason to book before the end of the year. Due to rising costs, we have to make price increases in 2026. Any booking made prior to the increase will be protected at the original price. It has to be a confirmed order. Quotes will not count and will be subject to the new pricing.
I appreciate each and every one of you and wish you Happy Holidays for whatever you celebrate!
Best wishes and see you next year!
Until next month!
Keep smilin'
