What's New

HSC 2026: practical exam dates

The 2026 HSC practical exam timetable is now available for schools to view and download from our website.

Timetables for HSC Languages oral exams and HSC written exams will be released in Term 2 2026.

New K–8 Science and Technology resource

A new resource on Algorithms aligned to the Science and Technology K–6 and the Technology 7–8 syllabuses is now available, including interactive sample lessons and real-world examples to support student understanding.

New K–6 PDHPE resource

A new resource is now available to support the explicit teaching of K–6 Fundamental Movement Skills (FMS) aligned with the PDHPE K–6 Syllabus outcomes and content.

NESA website content is moving

All NESA website content will soon be available through the new NESA website nsw.gov.au/NESA , making it easier for you to find and read the information you need.

Since 2023, content has been improved and gradually moved from our previous website.

The website educationstandards.nsw.edu.au will automatically redirect to nsw.gov.au/NESA over the school holiday period.

You can continue to access reformed syllabuses and resources on the NSW Curriculum website.
