Guest Artists for December |
|
For over two decades, I’ve been crafting jewelry that honors both tradition and intuition, working primarily with sterling silver and ethically sourced gemstones. My journey as a self-taught artist has been shaped by curiosity and countless hours at the bench, guided by books, online learning, and the quiet wisdom of trial and error. While my foundation lies in classic metalsmithing techniques, I’m continually drawn to exploration. Much of my creative process begins in a journal; sketches, reflections, and fragments of memory often guide the shape and spirit of each piece. To me, jewelry is more than adornment; it’s a vessel for meaning, connection, and personal ritual. Every piece I create is designed with intention, inviting the wearer to carry a story, a feeling, or a quiet moment close to the skin. Read More >>

I create mixed-media collage artwork inspired by the sea, rusty boats, and the beauty of things that have lived a little. My process is hands-on and layered; paint, photos, and found papers all come together, often with a few surprises along the way. Many of my pieces, like my Pacific Northwest scenes, reflect my love of color, the sea, and the character that comes from the weathered beauty that surrounds us. I hope my art makes someone smile or see something familiar in a new way. Read More >>
