Keep Your Eyes on the Pies

Preschoolers enjoyed our 4th annual pie tasting. Each year, the students sample pies to determine their favorite. Pumpkin wins again!

We are Preschool; Hear Us Roar!

This week, Mrs. Kelly's preschool class is studying growth and development, including the growth of animals and their babies. They learned that baby animals can be hatched from eggs or born, depending on God's design. The students made tiger masks and chose to be cubs or grown-up tigers; most preferred the latter.

SGA Leads the Way in Charitable Food Drive

Citrus County Blessings has one goal -"To conquer student hunger within Citrus County." For the Thanksgiving season, Seven Rivers Christian School made it their goal to partner with Citrus County Blessings.

In November, the Student Government Association (SGA) sponsored a canned food drive with the goal of collecting 1,500 donations for Citrus County Blessings. These cans will help fight against child hunger during weekends and breaks from school. SGA asked every student to bring 3 to 5 canned food items. Between the upper school's donations over the month and the grammar school's Harvest Samba celebration, we exceeded our goal! In total, 1,766 canned foods and other donations were collected.

Thanks to the effort and contributions of the entire student body, Seven Rivers made an impact this Thanksgiving. We were reminded of all we should be thankful for. Citrus County Blessings helps 3,000 students from over thirty schools, as well as homeschoolers. Run by volunteers, Blessings works hard to make a difference. This month, Seven Rivers Christian School helped them succeed in their mission.

Band and Choir Students Invited to Perform at Local Festival

Several SRCS students were invited to participate in the CF Honor Music Festival at the College of Central Florida. They spent over 10 hours in rehearsal, starting Thursday afternoon and culminating with a concert Saturday afternoon.

The band students were required to audition for their seats. Aeki Dayo-Fahl auditioned well enough to earn second chair of the wind ensemble band (the more advanced of the two bands). Both Irene Xu and Mariella de Beer placed first chair (the best for their instrument) for the symphonic band.

Our choir students, Janalyn Rodriguez, Norah Wolf, and Amelia Moreaux Rodriguez Ortiz, participated in a concert that challenged and delighted them.

Admissions Applications for PK – 12^th for the 2026-2027 school year are now open online. For preschool, click here. For K-12 applications, click here.

If you are currently enrolled in our Kindergarten – 11^th grade classes, you do not need to apply again.

All current K-12 students have automatic re-enrollment.
