As April comes to a close, we’re proud to reflect on the fantastic CyberFirst activity that has taken place across the Yorkshire region this month. A huge thank you to all the students, teachers, and industry partners who have participated in, volunteered at, and supported events across our local schools and hubs.
Join the CyberFirst remote Work Experience!

Students aged 14-16 who attend CyberFirst Schools in England have an incredible opportunity to join a 3-day remote work experience from May 18th to May 20th, 2026. Running daily from 10am to 3pm, this program offers a deep dive into the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) and the wider cyber security industry.

Participants will hear directly from industry professionals, learn how to combat ransomware attacks, and discover the skills needed to protect against malicious cyber threats. Beyond gaining technical and leadership skills, every student will receive a digital certificate to boost their future CV or UCAS applications.

Don't miss out—the application deadline is April 30th, 2026
