As usual, our first priority is to thank the appreciative people who have donated to the Historic Vehicles website. HV does have some advertising support, but we are indebted also to each donor, for helping keep the website content growing every month.

We've been asked by one of our HV website regulars to help find a home for a  Meadows engine and some parts. Several up-market UK makers used these engines.

In our News section we reported that the famous Brabham car has entered the Hall of Fame; Ducati released its latest retro bike; Ed Iskendrian passed away and we updated our lead-up to the 100th anniversary of US Route 66. 

In Car Features  we listed the economic factors that forced the UK's post-War automotive industry collapse; revealed the Duke's electric van fetish; reported on Maserati's little-known Indy 500 successes; updated registration requirements for replica cars and highlighted Mercedes-Benz' rear- and mid-engined cars.

To Car Brands we added FN, Kelsey, Mason-Maytag and Chandler-Cleveland, and we updated our Lotus, Duesenberg and Empire entries.

In Motorcycle Features we mourned the removal of the magnificent Phillip Island circuit from the 2027 MotoGP calendar.

We've been posting some more of our very high-quality,  Historic Vehicles caps to Australian website donors. We're keeping these caps exclusive by giving them only to people who donate A$60 or more to the Historic Vehicles website. (Overseas donors can receive caps, but need to pay postage.)

Like you, our travelling to events has been knobbled somewhat by current fuel pricing and availability, but hopefully it will end soon. All the best from the Historic Vehicles team.
