The Family Field Pass is a handy reference for navigating the soccer season. It covers everything from where to sit to good sportsmanship—give it a look to make sure that everyone is ready for gameday.
Due to the Galaxy’s success in the Leagues Cup, the game Region 13 is headed to has been rescheduled to October 11. Tickets are still available—and a limited number of on-field experiences will be awarded at random to Region 13 players! Don’t miss this chance to make a memory that will last a lifetime.

Here are many last-minute opportunities to check off those final requirements in becoming a fully-certified coach or ref. These courses are taught by fellow soccer parents like yourself, all with loads of experience and a passion for teaching and learning:

Shortly after the Fall season starts, Region 13 launches two programs for players looking to level up their skills:
Sunday Skills Clinics: If your player is looking to learn new moves, get extra practice, or targeted goalkeeper training, Sunday Skills is for you. Sessions are run by professional coaches from Launch Sports. Each age group is broken up into smaller groups, and players are able to join groups with their friends. All ages are welcome.

NEXT is for 10U, 12U, and 14U players seeking more advanced play with friends. On Sundays, each division meets for 90 minutes of scrimmages, and coaches may also arrange friendly matches with other teams from around Southern California. NEXT is open to all players who love soccer and are seeking extra competitive play. If you’re interested, go to your inLeague Family Profile, click “Update Registration” next to your name, and be sure to check the “NEXT – additional games for enthusiastic players” box.

We salute all the volunteers who contributed to making our preseason community gatherings a success: Bicky, Celina, Harry, Luke, Jonelle, Sonya, Shanti, Brandi, Tona, Patrick, Bret, Shant—plus all the heroic soccer parents who answered the last-minute call to help set up at Memorial Park. This spirit of pitching in and stepping up will go a long way towards making the upcoming season one to remember!
Region 13 soccer families will be recovering from the fire for years to come. Region 13 has received financial and equipment donations from many groups and individuals, including fellow local AYSO regions and some fantastic folks at Dick's Sporting Goods. It’s now time to distribute that gear. If you indicated in a prior submission that you needed replacement gear, you should have been sent a follow-up form for sizing information. If you haven’t received that or if you haven’t let us know yet at all that you need gear please fill out this form.
Once submitted, gear may be sent directly to you or be made available for pickup at the clubhouse. Please note we will work on replacing trophies after we have fulfilled the equipment needs so the players are ready for their first practices and games.
Need a soccer ball? Regardless if you were impacted by the Eaton Fire, you are welcome to stop by the clubhouse at 711 W Woodbury, Unit E, Altadena. Take a ball or leave a ball in the bin outside the door.
Hi ⚽️ Families,
We are so close! Our first soccer practices are only a few days away, and Opening Day is coming on September 6. I can’t wait! It’s been such a busy summer getting ready for next week. Literally hundreds of people have been volunteering to get our kids out on the fields: We have uniforms, balls and equipment; the fields are being painted; the schedule is being created and tools put in place to track scores, referees, and sportsmanship; and as many of you know, volunteers are spending many hours to train and keep our kids safe and having fun throughout the season. When you get on that field next week, please join me in thanking all of the people who have made this season possible: Coaches, Referees, Board Members, Park and PUSD Staff, Team Managers, and even the people who are going to show up first at the field and make sure that soccer goals are set up and ready to go. It takes a community to do this, and I am so proud to be part of the Region 13 family. See you all out there very soon!
