Nancy Frances Abstract Mixed Media
|
Nancy Frances loves art and all forms of design and creativity. She states that, "Every time I step into a gallery or wander in a museum, I am inexplicably changed. It’s as if my mind undergoes a beautiful metamorphosis, permanently altered in the most wonderful ways. The colors, the textures, the stories resonate with my soul, and I am always filled with awe and inspiration that linger long after I leave." Being an artist since her youth has been one of the greatest joys of her life.
In these recent works shown here, Nancy tried something new with smaller art that she usually frames under glass. She used acrylic, watercolor, and pastel on 300 lb paper, then cut and glued it to a board. By applying archival varnish, she avoided the glass and eliminated glare, making it easier to enjoy at home in the perfect spot.
Nancy states, “Art enriches reality by elevating our perception and the authenticity of everything on the planet. Art connects us.” Read More >>

Morgan Bell Glass Sculpture and Jewelry
|
Morgan Bell's artwork is an expression of her lifelong exploration into the concept that Beauty feeds Spirit. She believes that beauty, whether observed, created, or worn, adds an extra spiritual dimension to our lives. Creating objects of beauty and sharing them with the world is what drives her. Morgan creates figurative sculptures, garden art, glass fusion lamps, glass candle shades, jewelry, and more. Read More >>
Regarding her figurative sculptures, she states, "I’m often inspired by the 14th-century Persian poet, scholar, and mystic known as Rumi. He is often called the poet of love. This month, I will feature sculptures named after two of my favorite Rumi quotes, 'Close Your Eyes, Fall In Love, Stay There' and 'Only from the Heart Can You Touch the Sky.' The figures are composed of glass colored with glass enamel powder. The aluminum back supports are cut from recycled highway signs. The bases are made from tractor pulleys and machine parts colored with art pastels."

Regarding her glass candle shades, Morgan writes, "Glass and light form a perfect relationship. I create lamps and candle shades from recycled glass, which are then paired with candles or electric bulbs to create a glow of color."
