Jimmy & Eve’s 35th, Encouragement From 10 States & 2 Provinces
J. Jackson, lead singer and lyricist for ApologetiX here.

Before I go any further, I want to wish a happy 35th wedding anniversary this coming Sunday to our drummer/engineer, Jimmy “Vegas” Tanner, and his wife, Eve. In case you don’t know the story, they first met at a Kiss concert. Jimmy asked Eve for her phone number, but she played it smart and had him give her his phone number instead. So, it was first, Kiss ... long before their first kiss.
I recorded vocals for a new parody in the studio with Jimmy on Thursday. You won’t get to hear that one till a couple weeks from now, though, because it’s the second song on our seventh single of 2026, and we’re only slated to release our sixth single of 2026 this weekend.

Our mixer, David Michael, is currently mixing the two songs on our sixth single, which will be the 99th and 100th songs he’s mixed for us! Thank you, David, for all your hard work! They’re also the last two needed for our next CD, ApologetiX ’82. My wife, Lisa, and I worked on the cover for that this week, and I also wrote all the liner notes.

So, if you’ve been following along here, we’ve already recorded all the parts for the first two songs on the CD after that, ApologetiX ’83. We’ve selected the other 10 songs we plan to do (I have lyrics done for three of those, with six more in progress), and I was discussing plans for them yesterday with Jimmy and this morning on the phone with our keyboardist, Rich Mannion.

Our guitarist, Tom Tincha, just returned from a much-needed vacation with his wife, Deborah, earlier this week. While he was away, ApX alum guitarist Wayne Bartley filled in for a song. However, that one is the first song on our seventh single of 2026, so you won’t be hearing that one for a couple weeks, either.

You can read the clues for this weekend’s single below. After that, I’d like to share with you some encouraging emails we’ve been receiving lately.
Clues for 2026 Single #6
We hope to release our sixth single of 2026 by the end of this weekend, Lord willing.

Here are your clues. Want to really impress us? See if you can spot all of the references in both entries. We counted a total of 21.
SONG 1

Listen, you can live anyway you want, but the best things in life are free. That includes prayer and the Bible. Only you can decide whether to partake in either, but they're guaranteed to make you feel better if you do them over and over every day. Now more than ever, God and His Word have so much to say, so much to give, so take a chance!
SONG 2

Adam and Eve … that’s how the whole thing started, but it didn’t end with them. After all, everyone’s a sinner. Sometimes, sinning seems like it’s automatic; you do what you do once and then do it again. Old habits die hard. Ain’t it a shame. But Jesus can provide an alternate ending. Don't be afraid; it’s not easy to repent, but it’s not too late.
Once the new single is released, we'll announce it in our news bulletin, on our website, and on our Facebook page.
Encouragement from 10 States & 2 Provinces
The positive feedback we receive from our fans is such a beautiful blessing to us that we want to share it with the rest of you! Here are excerpts from emails we've received recently from fans in 10 states and two Canadian provinces:
I started listening to your music right after I got saved in 1998, and it means a lot to me. One thing that I remember clearly is having the radio on, a song comes on that I start singing along to, but I am singing your lyrics instead :) For example, I remember listening to KROQ in California and Linkin Park's "In The End" came on, and I started singing "Corinthians.” Thanks for your hard work and staying true to your calling, you will certainly be rewarded for it (store up your treasures in Heaven)! I will continue to pray for you, for your family, and your band.

I have to say, I really enjoy the latest CD. I’ve complimented you guys on this before, but your ability to record music with modern technology but make it sound like a recording from 1960's or whatever is incredible! It's less of a "cover band" style, definitely more like a reproduction. I keep you all in my prayers and am excited about all the new music you get to make.

The CDs arrived today. Thank you so much! My brother first turned me onto ApologetiX some years back, and we try and share you guys every chance we get. Thanks again and God bless you and everyone associated with ApologetiX!

I'm so thankful to God for y'all's music, ministry and friendship.  The care, effort, and talent that goes into the songs (lyrics and instrumentation) is phenomenal, and truly blessed by the Lord.  Not only has He called and equipped you for this Ministry, but He's placed you in just the perfect time of human history to do so with the technology, source material, and appreciative listeners (new and old, and coming soon). There couldn't have been ApologetiX before 34 years ago, but just think, we may get to enjoy some of these songs from now into eternity (since they're faithfully based on the Bible and its truth).

Thank you also for sharing your weekly testimonies (including needs) with us too, whether personally for your family or the bands', but also for fans when they need prayer.  Jesus keeps us close by constantly reminding us that we need to depend on Him for all that we have and can do.  Our vision is sharpened during the trying times, and we see God's hand more clearly!  But Praise God also for the victories (great or small, daily or seasonal), which are proof of his enduring love for us.  As you've often said in concerts, "If you're still breathing...".  Well, that's one blessing we can count on everyday.  And the day we can't count on that, then as an old pastor of mine would say, "...Glory!"

May you and the band, your wife and their wives, your children and their families be truly blessed on this anniversary day.  May God keep you all in His perfect will, giving you divine guidance and help by His Spirit for whatever you need, growing stronger and closer to His Son.  May He continue to give you "the words"...missing, needed, and implanted (those you never even thought of or considered).

Been having a lot more time to crank ApX tunes these days. I retired from my job one month ago. My wife has been retired for over a year now. The talent you guys (and gals) have is just amazing to me; I stand in awe. The same tunes never get old, simply amazing. With newfound time, I started through the Bible, following that one-year reading plan. HE has provided an abundance of time, no excuses now.

Thanks so much for what you do. I travel on my motorized bicycle with my camper trailer and my dog, rolling the streets of America, spreading the gospel hope and a message of recovery.  And trying to show that all homeless people are not typically what we think, and anyone can get saved. I roll around with a giant bluetooth speaker with a lot of your songs. And I'm a metal head … but they'll be looking at me and the chopper bike coming into the truck stop or the fuel pumps, and they recognize the music. Man, you don't know how many people I've gotten to spread the gospel to just by kind of that … fly fishing technique. It's just an awesome way to open up conversation and get smiles. God bless you. Thank you.

Love the music and what you are doing. You never know who might be changed from what they hear by what you preach through ApologetiX songs. Continue your calling …

Congrats on 34 years! The first place I saw you live was in the Family Christian Store in Robinson. Wish I had taken pictures. I just don't remember the exact date but it was in the late 90s. Nice Easter playlist. I think I'll create that playlist to play for my Easter egg hunt at my Noah's Ark in Second Life. I've been using your Easter Standard Time CD, but this one has a but more variety. God Bless!

God gifted you with a command of the English language that never ceases to amaze me and prepared you perfectly for what you do, from journalism to immersion in secular music. I've been hooked since the days of Jesus Christ Morningstar, when Hotel Can't Afford Ya at a listening station in a Christian book store made my jaw drop, and I pray the ministry continues as long as God leaves the desire in your heart for it!

I struggled with Christian music when I first came to Jesus, but my wife heard you on KLOVE and told me I might like you guys. I listened and I do. You’re still about 95% of what I listen to. Again thank you so much!

I first discovered ApologetiX during a particularly difficult season in my life — back in the days of IRC and message boards. It was there I learned of hundreds of new Christian artists and thousands of Christian albums/songs. ApologetiX, for me, was in a category all its own! Your music has allowed me to appreciate very great, good-sounding, well made songs whilst also keeping my focus on upstanding Christian values … You guys really have a mastery of comedic phraseology! Your music helped me through some very dark times that took way too long from which to somewhat heal. I love to laugh, and having amazing-sounding songs, coupled with a Christian message and topped with the funniest lyrics ever are an immense blessing and have helped me keep my mind on God and were a flicker of light in the darkness in my life.

I just wanted to take a moment to congratulate you on 34 years of ApologetiX. You’ve really put the time to good use. God has blessed you with talent and you have blessed us with hundreds of amazing parodies. I’ve been following along for 20 years now, and in that time I’ve learned so much from the Bible lessons and Christian teachings in your songs. I know so many scripture references now too because you embed them in the lyrics. Thanks for everything you do and here’s to many more years of your wonderful teaching through parodies.

New USBs Include Songbook & New CD, Too
Two weeks before last Christmas, we offered a deluxe USB thumb drive that proved to be popular with fans.

It included the digital versions of all of our CDs, plus any singles, EPs, or rarities that aren't on CD, but it also included the latest edition of our digital songbook (1992–2024), which is not on our standard USB. We had just enough of them to get us through the holidays.

With Easter around the corner, we’re happy to announce that we have a new batch in stock.

And this time, they not only include the songbook, they also include our new CD, Everything But, plus the two new singles (four songs) we’ve released thus far in 2026.

The songbook is 1359 pages long with lyrics and commentaries for each song, photos, articles, discographies, and multiple indexes (parody title, topic, original song title, original artist, year the original was a hit, and Bible verses covered)! Sorry, no sheet music.

Emblazoned with the band's logo, the USBs have a storage capacity of 16 GB, and they’re write-enabled, so you can add more music to them if and when you get future ApX downloads.

We only have 85 of these USBs in stock. They're available for a donation of $150 or more each. Multiple copies are available for $100 each.

ALL THAT, PLUS THIS ...

If you order one or more of these USBs, we’ll also email you a PDF of our complete library AND a link to download the songbook directly to your computer. That way, if you're getting the USB for somebody as a gift, you'll also get digital copies of our library and songbook for your own collection. Or vice versa.

NOTE: If you wish to order the digital songbook or the complete library without the USB, those options are still available.

Matthew 28:12-15
When the chief priests had met with the elders and devised a plan, they gave the soldiers a large sum of money, telling them, “You are to say, ‘His disciples came during the night and stole him away while we were asleep.’ If this report gets to the governor, we will satisfy him and keep you out of trouble.” So the soldiers took the money and did as they were instructed. And this story has been widely circulated among the Jews to this very day.
