City of Redmond Closed Through 2020 | Due to the ongoing uncertainty and Governor Inslee’s indefinite pause of the state’s phased approach to reopening, City of Redmond facilities will remain closed through the end of 2020. Redmond Police, Fire and other critical City services are fully operational. City staff are teleworking while facilities are closed. For more information, please visit the City of Redmond COVID-19 website at http://redmond.gov/COVID-19. | Second Laptop Roll-In, August 6 | RMS will be having a specially scheduled date to return all materials that are still outstanding such as laptops, power cords, textbooks, class novels and library books. Laptops need to be returned so that they can be re-imaged, otherwise they will not function in the new year. If you were an 8th grader, not returning your laptop may prevent you from receiving a new one at the high school. If you have found a stylus over the summer, please return it and the assessed fine can be deleted. A separate report listing outstanding materials will be emailed to you.

- Please wear a mask or other necessary PPE
- Be ready to hand over devices from your car

Whether we do a bee in person or online, we are looking for volunteers to spread the word, communicate with parents, help conduct the preliminaries and finals (track participant scores, write certificates, etc.) Especially consider volunteering and helping make the school bee a success if your child is interested in spelling bees!
