Chipotle Fundraiser on Nov 17!

Wednesday, November 17, 4:00-8:00 PM

Eat delicious food and help out RMS PTSA and RMS students at the same time! Eat at Chipotle at the Whole Foods Shopping Center on Wednesday, November 17 and 33% of your meal prices will be donated back to Redmond Middle School PTSA. Let's see how much we can raise for RMS students while enjoying a snack or dinner with friends and family!

In-person: Eat at Chipotle between 4:00-8:00 PM and just mention "RMS PTSA" when your group pays. You can also show the cashier the fundraiser flyer on your phone during ordering or print it out.

Online: Order from 4:00-8:00 PM for pickup only and use the code DYW6BYT when placing your online order.

RMS PTSA is partnering with our neighboring schools to bring you a wonderful parent education speaker opportunity with renowned parent coach, Christy Keating, to help us all learn more about how to support our students and each other. Learn tips and tools for supporting your student in this ever-changing pandemic world. This workshop is FREE for all parents, caregivers, and staff at Redmond Middle School. From 11/22 to 12/3, the online auction will be LIVE for bidding and donations, to support LWPTSA Scholarship programs raising funds to recognize amazing students and staff in LWSD. Proceeds from this auction go to the council’s scholarship fund to provide scholarships to graduating seniors and staff across our district.

Spelling Bee Information Session, Nov 18

After a successful online bee last year, RMS PTSA will be hosting a school spelling bee this year as well. We will be hosting an information session to talk about the format of the bee, what it takes to prepare, and what you can learn participating in the bee. Yes, the Nominating Committee is starting early this year and we have already opened our process for 2022-2023 Nominations! The RMS PTSA is looking for volunteers interested in a Board or chairperson position for the next school year. If you or someone you know has a passion for kids and the programs that help them succeed, please consider submitting a recommendation. No experience is necessary!

RMS Needs Yearbook Photos

The Yearbook students are excited to produce a yearbook capturing moments in and out of school and would like to include pictures from cultural events, holiday traditions, summer vacations, and other events. Any picture taken on a smartphone meets the resolution requirements, so feel free to email your pictures and/or questions to Yearbook Advisor Robert Johnson at robjohnson@lwsd.org along with student name(s), student grade(s), event name or location.

Thanksgiving Turkeys

The Eastside Basket Brigade has Thanksgiving Turkey Registration. If your family is in need of a turkey this holiday season reserve one by using this form: 2021 Eastside Basket Brigade - Google Forms. Information provided will be kept strictly confidential. Note: You must register through the above link to be guaranteed the Thanksgiving turkey! Once the sign up reaches 200 the registration will close and will no longer accept sign-ups.

Thanksgiving Vacation

Resources for K-12 Students

The King County Library System’s Study Zone Plus program provides free online support for K-12 students. Study Zone services are available in multiple languages and include one-on-one tutoring, reading support, and general homework help. Students can access the program by computer, tablet, or smartphone.
